How a phone photo of your dog becomes a wearable trading card. Honest version — including the part where humans take over from the AI.

You submit a photo.

Daylight, front-facing if you can. Phone camera is fine — we work with what you’ve got. You also pick a type (Fire, Dark, Water, etc.), your dog’s name, and an optional signature move.

AI drafts the sketch.

We feed your photo into a custom image model that knows trading-card composition — your dog as the subject, type-themed background, badge-style framing. This is the rough draft, not the final.

You get a free preview.

You receive the sketch by email. Yours to keep, free — wallpaper, post it, frame it. No obligation to order anything. About 30% of people stop here and they’re still customers we love.

Real artists refine the art.

If you order a product, a real illustrator opens the AI sketch and your original photo side-by-side and fixes everything the AI got wrong — eye shape, ear angle, the specific marking on the chest, the goofy underbite. No AI clones, no half-pet-half-monster results. The print uses the human-approved file only.

Final art lands in your inbox. You say yes, change something, or ask for a redraw — no charge. Once approved, it goes to print.

★ Why it’s not just an AI shop

The AI does the draft. A human does the dog.

Most “AI pet” sites stop at the sketch. The result looks vaguely like your dog at best and uncanny-valley nightmare at worst. We treat the AI output like a photo reference — useful, but it’s not the deliverable. A real illustrator owns the final image.
